Some of those books seem to be a bit old, however are often a much better reading for a newcomer to adsorption, than newer but very specialized ones.

    (M.N.: The first part is about isotherm modeling and there are over 50 equations compiled and discussed)
  2. J.W. Patrick (edt.): "Porosity in Carbons"
    (M.N.: May be only the first article (by Byrne and Marsh) is interesting for anyone who works on adsorption, but I think this is one of the best articles for one who starts with adsorption)

    ("Numerical Recipes in Fortran", "... in Pascal" and "... in C" with accompanying code - all are great programming cook-books and and give good theoretical background for a variety of numerical problems - though code rarely is very efficient, it is always a good starting point for research on a numerical problem)
